Fischer on data, productivity and interconnectedness

In the US the Fed’s Vice Chair Stanley Fischer appeared on Bloomberg TV repeating his mantra that rate decisions will be based on the data. But, as Phil Dobbie discusses with Bob Cunneen,, Senior Economist and Portfolio Specialist at NAB Asset Management,  the Fed also needs to consider the impact of its decision on the global economy. Fischer described it as “dealing with interconnectedness.”
